HUGGING OUR SOLDIERS חיבוק לחיילינו
Something as sweet as a hug goes a long way. What started as a small initiative became a weekly activity run by the citizens of Israel. Our mission is simple: In these dark days, we help in any way we can to bring some joy to our soldiers. Whether it's to bring equipment or load up a truck full of hot food and cold drinks, we go to the very front lines and bring a smile to those who keep us safe.

ABOUT US
Our names are Shahar Alster and Erez Evenchem. We both have an unbreakable bond with our unit and our country. We served as combat commanders in the Golani Brigade, and once we finished our service, we became average Israeli civilians. When the massacre of October 7th happened, we couldn't stand idly by. The next day, we took our truck, bought drinks, food, whatever we could think of, and went to the soldiers on the field, north and south. What at first became an instinctive reaction to help our brothers in arms has now become a weekly tradition. We take time out of our week from being CEOs of our high-tech startup to provide the next generation of combat soldiers with whatever they need.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We seek donations to fund our trips to the soldiers and provide them with food and equipment. Each trip typically costs around $4,000. Every donation is tax deductible through a 501(c)(3), for every dollar is another can of coke, a shawarma, and a big smile on a soldier's face. Any donation helps!

CAN'T STOP, WON'T STOP
Until there is light at the end of the tunnel, we will be here for our soldiers with whatever they need.
